Cultural Experiences

Connecting to our Roots

Inclusion Clare is proud to celebrate the richness of our Acadian heritage and the many cultures that shape our community. By taking part in local traditions, language, music, and shared celebrations, we not only honor where we come from, we strengthen the sense of belonging that guides our mission. These cultural experiences help participants explore identity, build pride, and connect with others in meaningful ways. In doing so, we live out our vision of an inclusive Clare, where every person is valued, respected, and supported to thrive within the culture that unites us.

Our visits to the Village Historique Acadien de Pubnico have been meaningful opportunities to walk in the footsteps of our ancestors and experience history come to life. Participants explore traditional Acadian homes, learn about daily life in early settlements, and connect deeply with the values of resilience, community, and care that continue to inspire us today. These trips remind us that inclusion is also about belonging; knowing who we are, where we come from, and how our shared history continues to shape the vibrant community we are building together.
